APPLE PICKING
Last year in autumn, my parents and I had a fun adventure. We went apple picking to a nearby orchard. It was a little cold but sunny, just the right weather for being outside.
When we arrived at the apple orchard, I was amazed by all the trees full of delicious apples. 1.1. I was trying to choose the best ones that were ripe and ready to eat. As I was picking the apples, I enjoyed the sweet smell of autumn in the air. The leaves on the ground made a soft sound while I was walking on them. I loved it. We walked around the orchard, looking for the juiciest apples. Suddenly, I saw a perfect apple high up in a tree. 1.2. However, when I reached for it, I lost my balance and fell down! I landed on a pile of leaves. I was a bit scared but luckily, I was fine. My parents ran towards me to make sure I was okay. We laughed about it and then I joined them in picking apples from lower branches instead. 1.3. We ate the delicious apples we picked and some sandwiches that my mum had prepared for us. With full tummies, we went back home. We were excited to bake apple pies and make applesauce. It was a day I'll always remember.
