Social media has become part of our everyday lives. It helps us stay in touch with friends and family, share our experiences and look for inspiration. It can be a very useful tool. 1. Social media also has some disadvantages.
One of the main issues with social media is that it often presents an idealised version of reality. People carefully create their profiles and they only share the best moments of their lives. As a result, we compare our lives to the "perfect lives" of others. We start to believe that everyone else is happier and more successful than us. 2. We shouldn't feel like that because, in reality, a perfect life doesn't exist! What's more, social media can be very addictive. All the notifications, likes and comments make us want more and more. 3. It can have a very bad effect on our mental health.
This is why we should limit our time using social media and we ought not to compare ourselves to others. Instead, let's live our own lives the best we can!
